The Bar Presidents’ Summit organized by the UIA (International Union of Lawyers) was held at the UN headquarters in Geneva on September 4.
Attorney François Moyse served as co-moderator alongside the outgoing president of the UIA, Attorney Carlo Mastellone, in a panel discussion focused on the actions bar associations have taken to protect the most vulnerable people in their respective countries.
Among the other sessions—all of which were of high quality—artificial intelligence was examined as a tool for defending human rights.
