Career

 

François Moyse has been registered at the Luxembourg Bar Association since 1991. He was a partner in several law firms in Luxembourg, before founding the law firm MOYSE & ASSOCIATES in 2020.

 

He is a lawyer recognized for his significant expertise in administrative law, in criminal law/white collar crime and is one of the few Luxembourg lawyers to appear both in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and in the Court of Justice of the European Union law, including in matters of European civil servants.

​

He is an expert of the Luxembourg Bar Association at the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) and is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA), in charge of the rule of law.

​

He is also a member of ECBA (European Criminal Bar Association) and ALAP (Association Luxembourgeoise des Avocats Pénalistes), as well as several other professional associations.

​

Mr Moyse is known to be active in a number of circles and associations within Luxembourg society.

​

He has taught fundamental rights at the University of Luxembourg and given numerous training courses in particular in the area of anti-discrimination law.
